You know - there ought be another contribution level if one want to be truly a "founding" contributor - it ought mean a one time payment to forever and forever more be considered founding - cause really I paid the $180 to be founding - but next year I'll have to pay that again - there ought be another level is what I think.
Still - you have my faith for the moment - but be aware - there are ways I can get my contribution back - even though I don't intend on doing this - but there are ways to "delay" as well - and I wonder - if I do that - does my contribution get held in good faith? If it does - who gets the interest on that I wonder.
Happy to be here presently - you convinced me to contribute - so I have - now I'm here. If later on you decide you would have just assumed I never contribute - tis too late for that I reckon. You are stuck with me - and I gave up $180 for that!

I got some stories I tell on my place - they are for free - check em out if you care about those willing to send funds your way - right or wrong.
Censorship will never do us part - cause I censor myself and nobody else can do that - I suspect you are likewise in that regard.
I contributed it with intent - I'll live with it and you can book it - I won't ever try to take it back regardless of what happens next.
That is just the kind of fella I am - even if I know there is a way I could get funds back, once I contribute, then please consider it booked. I'll contribute again if the content has merit.
I'm looking forward to reading your content. I've set a personal limit for myself of no more than 16 Substacks that I will subscribe to at any given time....so sometimes I have to make hard choices.
I share your goal(s) mentioned above. I try to share goodwill as well, but sometimes my "ire" gets elevated, then I get agitated, then I don't do as well in the goodwill department.....oh well, I've improved, but tis ongoing.
I'm ready for this winter of seeming endlessly dismal events to transition to spring, so that I can spend more time in the garden per my ambitions to grow quality peppers as well as a variety of other crops.
I just signed up to be a "founding member" so to speak - $180 - that is cheap.
ha, ha.
Especially for how many hours go into the research and writing.

I'm not overly familiar with the intricacies of Substack's payment collection/refund system.
I'll let my present works and "notes" speak to the material, quality, and tone of my substack.
We've now been pronounced founder and content provider, until censorship do us part.
Gotta like that!

Hopefully you find the content to be of merit, funds or not, seeking and spreading truth is my goal, and perhaps a smidgen of goodwill.
