For those of us that are awakening, as if from some long slumber, shuffling off the restrictive coils of a lifetime of deception, we glance about startled at the masses, confounded at their blind ignorance, and unrelenting obedience to obvious lies.

What underlies this psychological phenomenon of the masses? Why do so many still fall for the lies in the face of such overwhelming evidence to the contrary?
