During the COVID-19 pandemic, many nations implemented legal changes and emergency measures to address public health concerns, including quarantining, lockdowns, and other restrictions. These measures were often enacted under the guise of curbing the spread of the virus and protecting public health.

Many of these legal changes went largely unnoticed as the world was distracted with Covid-19 fatalities, case counts, George Floyd riots, climate change, financial swings, masking rules and vaccine mandates. Furthermore, during this period, numerous quarantine facilities were built.

This substack aims to shine a light into the shady corners of legalese, exposing the legal verbiage that allows for extreme governmental overreach as well as remind the public of the quarantine facilities that were built, awaiting the next “pandemic.”
