Are we on the cusp of World War III? Are there predictive analysis metrics that could be used to better asses this probability? Are there actors purposefully pushing for conflict? If so, who stands to benefit?

I'll attempt to answer these questions and more, looking at historical and cyclical trends before looking at specific actors and some of their motivations.
